New Concept
Today we practice reading and spelling little words with every sound we know so far.
Highlighted words are the ones to show and practice reading — tap one to hear it.
We have been learning so many new letters and sounds! Today we will practice reading and spelling words using all the letters and sounds we know. When we read words, we look at every letter, say each sound, then blend the sounds together to read the word. When we spell words, first we say the whole word, next we say each sound we hear in the word, and then we write a letter for each sound.
Read it
Look at every letter, say each sound, then blend the sounds together to read the word.
Spell it
Say the whole word, say each sound you hear, then write a letter for each sound.
