Lesson 17

b /b/

The grapheme B spells /b/

The phoneme /b/ is a voiced stop sound and is the voiced counterpart of /p/. When modeling, be careful not to add a schwa or short /ŭ/ at the end (i.e., /b/, not /buh/).
